Our Process

CFD-driven pump engineering, not guesswork.

United Flo uses Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and CFX analysis to engineer every United Flo pump as an exact fit for your system — verified in simulation before a single part is cut.

What is CFD

We model the flow before we build the pump.

Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulates how fluids move through pump systems. We analyze flow behavior, pressure distribution, and turbulence inside chambers and impellers to optimize hydraulic efficiency before manufacturing — testing hundreds of design variations digitally and delivering pumps with less than 5% deviation from predicted performance. No guesswork, no field adjustments.

Predictive accuracy

Validated Curves

Performance curves are validated before manufacturing, so the pump behaves as specified from day one.

Reduced cavitation

NPSH Verified

NPSH requirements are calculated and verified digitally, and impeller geometry tuned to eliminate problem areas.

Lower energy cost

Optimized Efficiency

Impellers are designed for maximum efficiency at your exact operating point — and delivered faster, with no prototype iterations.

The Four Steps

How a replacement comes together.

STEP 01

Capture Metrics

You submit flow, head, fluid, and the physical envelope of the existing pump.

STEP 02

CFD / CFX Analysis

We model your application in simulation and optimize our hydraulics for your exact duty.

STEP 03

Exact-Fit Design

We design a drop-in that matches mounting, piping, and electrical as they are today.

STEP 04

Build & Support

We manufacture, deliver, and stand behind the pump for decades of service.
